Dear Family and Friends,
Our wedding is moving forward as planned with the new date on Friday, April 30th, 2021. Ahead of the event, however, we would like to share health and safety measures. Please take time to carefully review the below details before making an informed decision about your RSVP. We understand this is a challenging time and are happy to address any questions you may have.
Personal Protective Equipment: Masks and hand sanitizers will be readily available to guests upon arrival. In case, however, please arrive with your own wedding attire masks as you greet friends and family.
Dinner: We’ve increased safety with a plated service. Please note which menu option you most prefer in your RSVP. We will also be serving butlered hors d’oeuvres to mitigate risk.
Venue: Our wedding venue and coordinator will assist us to safely host the affair according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Georgia state COVID-19 guidelines.
Hotel Room Block: Our hotel has listed numerous ways it is safely welcoming and hosting guests during this time. Please review Hampton Inn & Suites Johns Creek policies and standards amid COVID-19. Also, please make sure to (re)book your hotel stay by the cut-off date, which is April 15th, 2021 at 5:oopm EST. Book here to access the exclusive rates available for our wedding. Note, all prior 2020 reservations were cancelled due to the time lapse.
Transportation: There will be staggering transportation shuttle service available to allow for social distancing as needed to and from the hotel / venue. Please schedule your times accordingly, knowing it may take more time than usual. The venue is also a short distance away from the hotel if you choose to drive yourself.
Testing: If you have tested positive or you’ve been in contact with someone who has been positive in the last 14 days leading up to the wedding day, we ask that you please stay home to take care of yourselves and notify us as soon as feasible.
Temperature Checks: Temperature checks of all guests will be taken at the door upon arrival to further minimize risk. If you don’t feel well, please stay home.
Guest Interaction: Please minimize handshakes, hugs and simply socially distance as needed. We understand human contact is something that is missed, but the risk is high.
All additional safety guidelines are also listed on our Wedding FAQ Page.
We hope you are safe and well during this time.
Love,
Porscia and Eric

Please see the below letter from our venue, Ashton Gardens, related to the measures they have in place due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
A LETTER TO OUR GUESTS
Dear Friends & Family:
With the mounting concerns and uneasiness surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), it’s important that we take the time to address the matter at hand and update our guests on the measures we have taken to combat the situation.
We would like to mention that although current reports suggest the risk of contracting COVID-19 in the U.S. remains low, however, we continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the advice of the U.S. Department of State, the local health authorities, and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Although our health department inspection scores are consistently “A” ratings, Ashton Gardens is taking measures to enhance our rigid cleaning practices including more frequent sanitation of all equipment and employee work areas and cleaning public spaces more frequently.
Finally, education on the status of COVID-19 and prevention for our team members continues. At this time, we are providing ways to stay healthy, best practices for sanitation and warning signs. We are currently requesting that any team member not feeling well stay home. In addition, we are respectfully requesting that as a guest, if you’re also not feeling well, that you too stay home in an effort to sustain safety for our team and other guests.
With further education and awareness, we are confident that Ashton Gardens is safe and sanitized, ready to provide a memory making event for you and your family.
Should you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Thank you,
Ashton Gardens Team Members
